Raidou is Ayane's biological father, Kasumi and Hayate's uncle, and Shiden's older brother. A power-hungry shinobi, he seeks to master all of the Mugen Tenshin clans' techniques. He raped Ayame, Hayate and Kasumi's mother, who became pregnant with Ayane, and was later banished from his village as a result. He later returns to the village to gain the clan's signature technique, the Torn Sky Blast, and confronts Hayate after briefly defeating Ayane. Hayate uses the Torn Sky Blast to beat him, but Raidou counters with his own version of the technique after only seeing it once and defeats Hayate after a brief struggle, slipping him into a coma. He was killed by Kasumi in the first DOA tournament, thus deeming her its winner. He is playable in all console versions of the original Dead or Alive once unlocked. He also appears in Dead or Alive: Dimensions as an unlockable character.
