Bankotsubo is a Tengu, a mythological creature from Japanese folklore. First appearing in DOA2, he escaped to the human world from the Tengu world after murdering his leader, Kuramasan Maouson. He wants chaos to reign over the world, but is stopped by Hayabusa. He later appears as an unlockable character in Dead or Alive Ultimate, Dead or Alive 4, and Dead or Alive: Dimensions.
